Try Golden Palace Baccarat
Here you will find all you need to know about baccarat strategies. Baccarat is not only one of the easiest card games at the casino to learn, but definitely the easiest game in which to make smart bets. Baccarat has the perhaps the lowest house edge in the casino, and this makes it fairly easy to have your betting strategies work for you relatively quickly.

The thing that makes baccarat strategies so easy to pick up and so fast to make use of is the fact that there are only 3 bets in a game of baccarat. If you’d like to read more about this exciting game, you can find a lot of in depth information on the How to play Baccarat page and the Baccarat Rules pages available for you here on this site.

The three bets available to you in baccarat are the Banker bet, the Player bet and the Tie bet. Any good baccarat strategy will tell you that betting on the Banker is the safest bet, because the house edge on that bet is very close to 1.0%. The only bets at a casino that have a better house edge are some of the bets you can make while playing craps. When you bet on the Banker winning the hand, the chances that you’ll win are slightly higher than if you bet on the Player winning, but if the Banker does win, there is a 5% charge, called the vigorish, on your win. For example, if you bet $100 on the Banker, and win, your take will be $195, not the $200 you’d make on a winning $100 Player bet. The best baccarat strategies can only point you in the right direction, but it is fairly easy to see, that with such a low house edge, even with the vigorish; the Banker bet is the best bet in the long run.

Next in the list of baccarat bets is the Player bet. This bet will always have a slightly higher house edge, usually around 1.25%, which makes it also a fairly good bet where baccarat strategies are concerned. There also is no vigorish, or house percentage charged on a winning Player bet, so all the winnings are yours to keep. Some players find that betting on the Player feels more natural, and this is likely a holdover from being more used to playing blackjack, and how the betting in that game functions. In our software suite of games, the baccarat game that you will find has a Single Player, a Multiplayer, and a Private Group option for playing. With any of these, you will always be dealt a hand, and therefore should get used to the feeling of betting on the Banker whenever you want.

The third betting option in baccarat is the Tie bet. The best baccarat strategies will always tell you that in order to win, you must avoid the bad bets. The Tie bet in baccarat is notorious for being just such a bet. The house edge on the Tie bet is almost 5%, which is very high by any standards. There is, however, one thing about the Tie bet that makes it attractive to anyone who has ever played baccarat, and that is that it pays 9 for 1 on a winning bet. For instance, if you bet $100 that the Player’s and the Banker’s hands would end up with an equal number of points, you’d win $900. It can be pretty hard to resist the thought that you could make as much as $2700 on a single 2-3 card hand of baccarat. If you are playing the free version of our game, you can make this bet as often as you like, without worrying about the cost, but you will have to be careful here when you switch to the real money version.

At one time or another, you may have heard of baccarat strategies involving keeping track of patterns in the sequence of cards as they are dealt. With our software suite of games, everything is completely computer controlled, and random. With our baccarat game, we use 6 decks of cards, and the chance of finding a pattern is extremely slim. Even though at a casino, you may observe players around a baccarat table using small index cards to mark X’s and O’s on, to keep track of the patterns they perceive, much of this practice is more closely related to superstition than any factually based baccarat strategy.

Please feel free to continue to browse the information on baccarat that has been compiled for you here, and take the opportunity to read some of the fine articles that we have archived as extra gathered facts on this fun and exciting game.
